PlayAural is an online multiplayer gaming platform built with an audio-first approach. It is designed specifically for blind players, offering a simple and accessible space where people can relax and play casual games together using their screen readers.

About the Project

Hello, I am Trung. I maintain the website ddt.one, where I gather and share games and software for blind users.

PlayAural is built upon the excellent open-source foundation of PlayPalace. I am deeply grateful to the original creators for their hard work, which made this project possible. While PlayAural shares those same roots, it is taking a different development path. My primary focus is on shaping the platform's features and updates to better support the Vietnamese blind community, while still warmly welcoming and supporting players from all over the world.

The Game Library

The platform has a growing collection of games. You can play against friends or add computer-controlled bots to fill empty seats at your table. Some of the currently available games include:

• Card Games: Pusoy Dos (Big Two), Crazy Eights, Texas Hold'em, Five Card Draw, Scopa, Ninety Nine, and Mile by Mile.

• Strategy and Board Games: Coup, Snakes and Ladders, Pirates of the Lost Seas, and Light Turret.

• Dice Games: Farkle, Toss Up, Threes, Left Right Center, Midnight, and Pig.

Platform Features

• Audio-First Design: The interface relies entirely on soundscapes, audio cues, and text-to-speech notifications instead of visual elements.

• Cross-Platform: Play from your Android phone, Windows PC, or directly from any web browser.

• Global Chat: Use the /g command in the chat box to send messages to the global server and find people to play with.
